Air France Cabins
Air France offers four types of cabins: La Première or First, Business, Premium Economy, and Economy.
La Première
Air France offers La Première cabins on its select aircraft like Boeing 777-300ER. Long beds, 180-degree reclining seats, a touchscreen tab, a privacy pider, headphones, USB ports, and special meals are some of the main features of these cabins. Passengers traveling in this class enjoy a luxurious private lounge including a chauffeured car. La Première is not offered on all aircraft. Passengers of La Première get priority in check-in as well as in other services.
Business
Air France offers Business class cabins on all routes. This class has different features like a 180-degree reclining seat, headphones, privacy screen, TV screen, charging ports, meals and others.
Premium Economy
Premium Economy of Air France is designed to ensure comfort, privacy and peace of mind. If one wants to do work on board, so, it becomes easy here as the spacious seats are equipped with all the work or leisure-related amenities like touchscreen, reading lamp, USB ports and so on. Meals and drinkables are also on offer.
Economy
Air France ensures a comfortable journey and everlasting travel experience for the passengers of Economy class. Apart from adjustable reclining seats, there are touchscreen, snacks, meals, and beverages are offered depending upon the type of journey.
Le Salon
Le Salon is the Air France lounge facility available at different international airports. Passengers of La Première, Business, and Premium Economy can use Le Salon lounges. This facility is also available for the members of Flying Blue Gold, Flying Blue Platinum, Sky Team Elite, and Elite Plus. Barring Antarctica, Air France has Le Salon airport lounges on all other continents.
Flying Blue
Air France offers frequent-flyer program namely, Flying Blue, and provides a chance to get points on traveled miles. Membership is free of charge. The program has three categories of membership:
Standard or Explorer: One has to become a member in this category to enter the Flying Blue program.
Elite or Silver: One has to get a specific limit of miles per year to enjoy the benefits of this category.
Elite Plus or Gold and Platinum: Members of this category get some extra benefits and advantages.
Checked Baggage
Passengers travelling in La Première cabins are allowed to bring 3 checked baggage weighing not more than 32kg / 70 lb each. Business and Premium Economy class passengers can have 2 checked baggage weighing 32kg / 70 lb each and 23kg / 50 lb each respectively. Economy class passengers can bring 1 checked baggage weighing 23kg / 50 lb if they chose light fare, otherwise, they will have to buy a checked baggage option. Members of Flying Blue(silver, gold or platinum), Sky Team Elite are allowed to travel with 1 extra checked baggage free of charge. One baggage item should not exceed 158 cm / 62.2 inches dimension. Exceeding the permissible baggage dimension leads to some extra charges depending upon the preferred class of cabins. Passengers can carry hand baggage of 55 x 35 x 25 /21.7 x 13.8 x 9.9 inchesdimensions and the permissible limit of weight depends upon the preferred cabin class.
Foods
Air France offers a variety of foods on board. Passengers can pick any suitable choice from the list of menus consisting of My Fun Menu, Tradition Menu, Ocean Menu, and Italia Menu. These menus are prepared keeping in mind the choices and preferences of passengers. Drinkables, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, are also available.
Check-In
Passengers can check-in ahead of 30 hours prior to boarding the flight, select the seats of their choices and get a boarding pass. Check-in can be done through the website, mobile app or kiosks which are available at the airports.
In-flight Wi-fi
Air France offers an In-flight Wi-fi facility for travelers to ensure they stay connected during their journey and enjoy online entertainment through mobile, tab, or laptop. There are three Wi-fi passes available: Message Pass, Surf Pass, and Stream Pass.
