It is also Canada’s second-largest airline.
History of WestJet Airlines: The airline was founded in the year 1996 by Clive Beddoe and a team of similar perception partners. The first flight of the airline flew on the 29th February 1996 via Boeing 737. The airline’s initial routes were Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, Vancouver, and Winnipeg.
